— The naked truth: Three eastern Missouri men were willing to go to extreme lengths to get some beer. That’s the accusation after an incident in the early hours of Aug. 18 at Fish’s Quick Stop in De Soto. Store clerk Vicky Gaines says a masked man walked in and began doing the hula dance. Police say the plan was for the naked dancer to create a distraction while another man took a case of beer from the store.

There is a good reason people don't drink Maccabee Beer There is a good reason that people don't drink Maccabee Beer. it is cheap low quality beer… it is cheap low quality beer. When there were only two choices of beer in Israel Goldstar and Maccabee (and both are terrible to anyone who has any knowledge of what a good beer should taste like) Maccabee (which is even worse than Goldstar) could still win some of the market with its near monopoly. But things have changed there has been an increasing influx of good European beers in the Israeli market and by pure virtue of better quality the European beers have one the day. There now begins to be a subculture of home brewing which could be a great thing if Israel begins to have a selection of good quality beer. But until that happens people with any taste will go for foreign brews.
