Here are some suggestions. Throughout the eveningElysian Bifr?Winter Ale. This seasonal winter brew from Seattle’s Elysian Brewery is definitely meant for Northwest hop-heads. Bitter citrus hops dominate along with a sharp bite from the 7. 5-percent alcohol content. The finish is smoothed out with pale malt but not enough to let you forget about the hops.

4%Being a New York State beer drinker this makes me wonder if the rest of the country knows and appreciates the incredible things that are happening at the Southern Tier Brewing Company. No other brewer has given me more new beers that blew me away in the past year than this one. According to the bomber this beer uses:2-row barleycaramel 60 maltbarley flakeschocolate maltbittersweet belgian chocolateKettle hops: chinook and willametteThe beer looks like an imperial stout ought to look. Black with a pillowy tan head that dissipates quickly as it wrestles with the 11% abv brew. You’re not ready for how chocolatey this smells… 4%Being a New York State beer drinker this makes me wonder if the rest of the country knows and appreciates the incredible things that are happening at the Southern Tier Brewing Company. It’s like a mug of cocoa with marshmallows as you curl up next to a roaring fire.

5 | service: 5 | selection: 4 – $$rDev: +4%I have been here a few times in the past I would go more often if I lived in the neighbourhood. This is really a great place for Manhattan as there has been a need for a store that fills growlers like this. You can walk up and pick up a fresh 64oz of good local beer. They have one Sixpoint beer the Eight days of week always on tap. Decnet beer and a good price at $7 a growler. They usually have another Sixpoint as well as Brooklyn Capt Lawrence and a few other locals. Bottlewise the selection is very good but not the best in the city.
