Cobra Beer acquires strong beer brand Iceberg

18 Cobra Beer has picked up a 76 per cent stake in the Bihar-based brewery — Iceberg Industries Ltd — and also acquired the strong beer brand of Iceberg. The remaining 24 per cent stake would be retained by Mr Amit Katyal the owner of Ice Berg Industries. Besides Cobra would also be setting up three greenfield breweries in States such as Punjab and Andhra Pradesh. At a press briefing Mr Karan Bilimoria Founder & Chairman Cobra Beer said: “We have earmarked a total investment of $50 million for the next two years. This includes our current stake acquisition as well as expansion of new breweries.

The mats are being distributed across Leominster Herefordshire to help try to cut down on alcohol-fuelled anti-social behaviour in the town. Council leaders said one of the biggest problems was shopkeepers selling the alcohol to teenagers. The move comes after West Mercia Police’s Christmas Presence campaign.

So maybe the humor still needs work but Ale Street News means business… “Even a nonbeer drinker can pick it up and find something of interest. ur view is that beer relates to everything. What beer lover would argue? It’s been a long strange trip to brew-bible status for both Forder and co-publisher Jack Babin. Former is a former newspaper editor and reporter; Babin’s background is in sales and marketing. They are both in love with the same woman but that hasn’t affected their business relationship. K so the woman happens to be Sue Babin Tony’s wife and Jack’s sister. Forder met his future wife at a bar in San Francisco; they attended Humboldt State University and the College of the Redwoods.
