German company Radeberger Gruppe along with Dalmia Continental promises to add fizz into teetotallers underage individuals and pregnant women’s lives with its non-alcoholic beer Clausthaler. The company is betting on supermarket sales for the growth of this niche category and will be investing Rs 11 crore towards branding and promotion. “Clausthaler’s non-alcoholic beer is perfect for people who do not drink for religious or medical reasons. The ingenious concept makes the brand taste exactly like beer” Mr Hans-Joachim Schliebs President International division Radeberger Gruppe a €1.

Anderson Daily Mail Capitol Reporter A bill flowing through the West Virginia House of Delegates would make it illegal for scrap metal dealers to buy used beer kegs from anyone but the beer manufacturer. Backed by Anheuser-Busch the makers of popular brands like Budweiser the bill intends to stop what the industry says is a growing trend of people cashing in on the valuable stainless steel and aluminum the kegs are made out of. Experts connected with the beer manufacturers say the practice is costing the industry millions of dollars every year. A keg could fetch up to $100 when sold for scrap said Anheuser-Busch's state lobbyist John Cavacini. Meanwhile a usual deposit on a keg is between $10 and $30.

Gaston County District Attorney Locke Bell said Tuesday that Wanda Schoen’s next scheduled court date is April 8. The case was previously continued in January. The charge is a misdemeanor and it is common for attorneys to continue District Court cases. Mac and Jack’s is a very focused brewery; draft only 4 beers in the lineup(maybe 3 soon if they drop the IPA as rumored) very little advertising. They’re obviously doing something right if they are beating the big guys in one of the most competitive beer markets in the country.
