The versatile forward who is known more for his three-point shooting than his force inside the paint came up big to help Taiwan Beer secure their third win in a row. “It’s all about being at the right place at the night time. It could have been anyone on the team and I just happened to be the guy tonight” Ho said afterwards. His winning bucket not only kept Taiwan Beer on a roll but also avoided what would have been an embarrassing loss to a shorthanded Dacin squad missing four regular starters.

Charged with shooting her husband to death after he brought her a warm beer Jones was locked up in the City Jail to await trial for his murder. Jones lingered for months at the jail her health deteriorating rapidly from the ravages of stomach cancer and dementia. Quietly without public fanfare her public defender won her a medical furlough last Christmas. In January she finally died at a skilled nursing facility in the city without ever standing trial.

The green pint glass-shaped costume went missing after a sales representative for a Detroit beer distribution company gave it to a friend for Halloween.
