(Photo provided by TeamWorks Media) Thirteen Seattle artists are among the creative crew contributing to Pacifico Beer’s latest promotional campaign. We wouldn’t normally pass along a glorified ad for an alcoholic beverage but the artists hand-painted their designs on 1960s Volkwagen buses. And they do look pretty cool. Each artist was given a beachy subject like surfing jellyfish iguanas and scorpions and a van as a canvas.

CPM?s labour arm Citu targeted Parag Breweries recently set up asa joint venture with Danish brewery giantCarlsberg. The beer planttouted as the largest in the eastern region was set to start commercialproduction from Monday when Citu men stormed its premises and held it to ransomdemanding jobs for ?sons of the soil?. The CPM labour arm had darednot make this demand of the Tatas at the Nano factorysite. However company managingdirector Parag Mitra refused to bend to the arm-twisting tactics.
