Tandoori-Rubbed Beer Can Grilled Chicken

Preheat the grill on high. When ready to grill turn off the middle burner and reduce the sides to medium-high (about 375 to 400 degrees). Discard half of the beer. Place the half-filled can on a sturdy work surface. Holding the chicken right side up (wings and neck cavity on top) insert the beer can into the lower cavity. Transfer the chicken and beer can to the grill. Stand the chicken over the center of the grill positioning the legs to keep the bird standing upright.

Friday police said. He is being held in the county jail without bond. Houston police said that Sheriff’s Deputy Samuel Hayes was in plain clothes when he saw Johnson enter an Exxon convenience store grab several cases of beer and attempt to leave without paying. Hayes identified himself as a sheriff’s deputy and ordered Johnson to stop. But Johnson refused. The two fought and Johnson cut Hayes several times with a utility knife. Hayes fired his gun several times at Johnson hitting him once in the left leg.

The Latin American Herald Tribune reported Wednesday that relatives and friends of Tito Vasquez waited for several hours Sunday at the Campos de Cristo cemetery for the hearse to arrive so that they could bury their loved one. Vasquez’s family said they could not understand why his body was not being delivered for the funeral. Police said Vasquez’s body was found in the hearse in the parking lot of a motel in Bogota’s San Bernardo neighborhood the newspaper reported.
